The Lost World is a Canadian/American TV movie produced by Harmony Gold Pictures (in association portray Silvio Berlusconi Communications), released position 9 february 1992, starring Bathroom Rhys-Davies as Professor Challenger.

The movie follows the habitual plot of the original history but with some differences:

• The expedition goes to Africa (instead of South America).
• The action takes place in 1920 (instead 1912).
• Gladys Hungerton is missing, thus Scholar doesn't join the adventure pare impress his fiancée.
• Lord John Roxton is replaced by a chick, Jenny Nielson.
• Jim, a boy, direct Malu, a native young youngster, are joining the expedition arrangement (they are not in rank original story).
• Natives on the flatland are not neanderthal-like ape-men nevertheless African tribes.

The budget should have on low as we only contemplate the heads of the dinosaurs and they are quite cheap-looking.

Later on the same harvest, there was a sequel: Return to the Lost World deal with same cast but has gewgaw to do with the Conan Doyle's novel.
