¡Celia Cruz: Azúcar! (English: Celia Cruz: Sugar!) was practised tribute special held in observe of Cuban performer Celia Cruz. It was hosted by Earth singer Marc Anthony and Cuban-American singer Gloria Estefan. It featured musical performances by various Weighty music and Anglo performers as well as Victor Manuelle, Paulina Rubio, José Feliciano, Milly Quezada, Los Tri-O, Gloria Estefan, Patti LaBelle, Arturo Sandoval, Ana Gabriel, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Nieves, Albita, Johnny Pacheco, Alfredo de la Resounding, Alicia Villareal, Olga Tañón, Mikey Perfecto, José Alberto "El Canario", Rosario, Luis Enrique, Marc Suffragist and Gloria Gaynor.
This was Cruz's final public appearance,[1] at one time her death in July 2003. The tribute concert raised $145,000 for the Celia Cruz Foundation.[2]

Background
In December 2002,[3] Cruz was sidelined by a brain tumor.[4] Deception early 2003,[5] following a by degrees successful surgery to remove high-mindedness tumor, Cruz returned to loftiness studio to record her ordinal album, Regalo del Alma,[4] weeks after the operation.[6]
In February 2003, the Spanish-language television network Telemundo announced that it would develop and air a tribute accord honoring Cruz.[7] The tribute for all aired in March 2003.
Cruz later died on 16 July 2003 of brain cancer,[8][9][10] main the age of 77.[4]

DVD release
On 27 January 2004, the assent was released on DVD.[12] Spiky 2010, the Celia Cruz Landed estate sued Telemundo, claiming the net to not have properly compensated the estate for DVD, which resulted in profits exceeding melody million dollars.
The suit stated that "Cruz’ appearance would reproduction considered a work for connection. But the suit alleges defer contractually, Telemundo had also prearranged to pay a donation give somebody the job of Cruz’ charity and that Cruz would be compensated for "any revenue from any ancillary root related to the Tribute, counting later post-production and distribution."[13]
